- carbon-coated billet handlebars. Carbon composite materials are well known in the aviation industry as well as in the production of high-tech bicycles. However, in motorcycle engineering these materials have found little application. The handlebar is of structural importance to a motorcycle which is greatly accommodated by the properties of these composite materials. A 1 mm layer of cross-linked carbon gives the handlebar extreme resistance to bending at a reduced weight. The core consists of a high strength billet tube identical to that of our Fat Bar handlebar. To achieve the required diameter tolerances of a motorcycle handlebar, this composite component is manufactured with the highest precision. The unique look of this handlebar is emphasized by the transparent coat that covers the carbon shell. Can be mounted with any modern handlebar clamp for tapered handlebars or with special handlebar adapters made by GSG or LSL. Clamp Area 28.5 mm Outside Ø 22 mm/ 7/8 |
