The m-Unit V.2 is
a digital control unit for your motorbike - the
"heart" of the vehicle's electrical system.
The m-Unit V.2
can be operated by push-button control or
conventional switch controls mounted at the
handle bar. The control box is used for
switching of all necessary vehicle components
and doubles as fuse panel.
Its compact case has the approximate size of a
cigarette box and is completely molded in -
resistant to water, weather and vibrations.
It is easily mounted by two M5 screws. All cable
connections are made using terminal blocks.
The m-Unit V.2
is the 'electrical heart' of the motorbike. All
switching operations are completely digitally
controlled by a microprocessor and the latest
solid-state technology - completely without
mechanical relays, taking vehicle electrical
systems to a new level!

at motogadget – the m-TRI signal adapter for
Triumph Twin and Triple models with CAN bus
technology!
In the past, it was not possible
to remove the original instruments on the
Triumph Twin models (years 2011 and later) and
Triple models (years 2006 and later). Except for
the Breakout Box Triumph – exclusively designed
for motoscope Pro – there was no way to operate
a motogadget instrument.
Once the bulky original instrument was
disconnected, the built-in CAN bus of these
models instantly became inoperative. No mods
were even possible.
The solution – specially designed for use with
Twin models – has arrived: the m-TRI,
exclusively at motogadget.
The m-TRI not only provides engine speed and
ground speed, but also the signals for the
indicator lights: left/right turn signal, low
fuel indicator, error memory, high beam,
neutral, water temp HIGH, oil pressure.
Note that some of the indicator lights on
instruments with 4 or 5 LED's are
multi-functional.
Another big advantage is the fool-proof
installation. The original connector is used,
and the cables for the instrument and indicator
lights are connected to the terminals of the
m-TRI with color codes. No soldering or cable
detection. No changing the wiring harness. No
voiding the vehicle warranty.
This simple installation is almost Plug and
Play. It saves time ...and money.

m-CAN OBD

The m-CAN OBD
is a digital adapter for the hassle-free
direct connection of our instruments to the
diagnostic interface of post-2004*
Harley-Davidson™ bikes.
Plug & Drive - it doesn't get easier!
A tiny black box frees you of the necessity
to install speed or RPM sensors. Every
Harley-Davidson™ bike later than 2004* is
equipped with this 3-pin connector
interface. With the m-CAN OBD digital
adapter simply plugged into the interface,
your motogadget instruments can read data
straight from the SAE J1850 machines data
bus: Speed, RPM and MIL (check engine
warning light). Voltage supply over the OBD
data bus is also optional, making possible
the operation of e. g. the motoscope mini
without any installation procedures to the
bike.
The instrument is simply connected to the
m-CAN OBD. All compatibility issues between
instruments and original speed sensors -
especially w/ H-D models since 2007 - are
solved. Also, the signal for the
MIL/malfunction warning is read at the
engine as well as peripherally and can be
read by installing a LED/indicator light.
This means that all original instruments are
redundant and may be removed**. The m-CAN
OBD consists of only a tiny, completely
moulded-in box, an ODB-connector and a
sufficiently long connector cable. It is
resistant against vibrations and
environmental exposure. It's serviceability
is ensured even with less than 5V system
voltage and meets all SAE-specifications for
motorcycles.
** With certain models like the V-ROD,
removing the original speedometer may lead
to problems with the ECU/immobiliser. Please
ask your local dealer or test before
actually performing the modification (e. g.
by disconnecting the original speedometer).
In some cases, the immobiliser has to be
disabled.
* The application is not possible with H-D
Softtails 2011 and up. Also not possible
with other models with HD-LAN system. Fits
only models with SAE J1850 system.

M-Lock

m-Lock - the digital touch less ignition
lock with RFID technology.
The m-Lock is a contact free digital
ignition lock with RFID technology and substitutes mechanical ignition
locks or their electrical switching feature respectively.
The associated digital key/transponder only has to be approached to the
m-Lock (switching distance
approx. 1 1/2" - 2"), and the ignition is switched on or off completely
contact free.
The m-Lock is based on the latest RFID technology (Radio Frequency
Identification) and therefore, unlike e.g. radio remote controls,
tamper-proof. Each key/transponder has a unique digital code.
The m-Lock can be actuated with the correct digital code only.
Key/transponder and m-Lock are absolutely free of mechanical wear.
The m-Lock switches automotive relays with a possible load of up to 40A
- sufficient power for every on-board system.
The hidden mounting of the small m-Lock, covered by non-metallic parts
like e.g. a plastic side panel, permits completely removing the mechanic
ignition lock. Clean look and various design possibilities are
guaranteed - especially for custom bikes!
The available option 'Glass Tube' is so small (3 x 13 mm) that it can be
sewn into the glove. Please note the reduced switching distance (about
5-10 mm) of the Glass Tube transponder. The 2 included standard keys
(teardrop shape) are key fob sized.
All keys/transponders are available as a replacement 'key blank' and can
be 'taught' to the desired m-Lock.
NOTE: We do not recommend using the m-Lock combined with immobilizers!
Contact your dealer/manufacturer for information about the possible
deactivation of the immobilizer.

a) The m-Flash substitutes a conventional flasher relay. This
flasher relay usually is implemented BEFORE the indicator switch.
The most convenient way to mount the m-Flash is to simply search and
replace the original relay.
b) The m-Flash can NOT replace the push-button controls of a
push-button instrument. Please refer to our m-Relay+ if you are
looking for a flasher relay for push-buttons.
c) Newer Harley-Davidson model series use a special module to
control the flasher controls (TSM/TSSM). These modules can NOT be
replaced or complemented by the m-Flash.
